HApPy Independence DaY!

 

This morning I was super excited to see one of my bulbs opening!!

I was up early to get to the Gym before 7.  The baby was still asleep and it was still cool!

I warmed up with the Cybex arc-trainer and then I did a basic strength training work out on the Cybex weight machines.  After a breakfast smoothie I felt ready for the day.

In this smoothie:

  • 1 T. cocoa powder
  • 1/4 C. blueberries
  • handful spinach
  • 1C. almond milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 t. almond butter
  • ice!!

I’m currently opting for low-impact cardio, such as swimming or eliptical machines workouts. 

And now, for the piece de resistance… a Gluten-free July 4th dinner!

My husband made hamburgers with bacon, potatoes and spinach for dinner.  We enjoyed dinner on our back porch with gorgeous weather.  Yum!!
