After getting my Celiac diagnosis I scheduled an appointment with a nutritionist to be sure I was on the right track to regaining my health. I have to say — I expected that I was better off than I actually was. Having an autoimmune disease requires vigilance with regard to diet and supplements.  I learned so much by going to a nutritionist…can’t recommend enough.

It turns out that my body needs a major dose of vitamins that it has not been absorbing for quite some time.  So I went to the local health food store – since all vitamins have to be gluten free of course – and stocked up on D3, B vitamins, Folic Acid, Evening Primrose Oil, and a host of others…Yikes!!!  Now on to scheduling a blood panel to be sure all is well.
